In a significant stride towards advancing Nigeria’s agricultural landscape, we are thrilled to announce our recent visit and strategic partnership with the Nigeria Agribusiness Group (NABG), a distinguished organized private sector platform dedicated to catalyzing the growth of Nigeria’s agricultural economy.
NABG is renowned for its commitment to creating jobs, lifting millions out of poverty, and strategically investing across the entire agricultural value chain β from inputs to output markets, export markets, equipment, and consumer foods manufacturing. Their holistic approach aligns seamlessly with our vision for sustainable agricultural development.

Currently, NABG, in collaboration with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), has initiated the Promotion of Agribusiness Advocacy for Small-scale Producers project (SSPs), scheduled to run until 2024. This groundbreaking project is uniquely designed to drive policy advocacy in both the public and private sectors, aiming to scale and include smallholder farmers and small-scale producers across Nigeria.
During our discussions with NABG, the spotlight was cast on our Farmers DB Project, an initiative aimed at creating an accurate and comprehensive database of farmers in Northern Nigeria. NABG has expressed keen interest in this project, recognizing its potential to contribute significantly to the overarching objectives of the SSPs project.
As we embark on this collaborative journey, we are excited about the prospects of leveraging our expertise and resources to support NABG’s mission. Together, we envision driving positive change, promoting sustainable agriculture, and uplifting communities across Nigeria.
